Venntro owns Global Personals, Smooch and a number of other brands in the dating and social discovery space. A site design was needed that would fulfil the twin objectives of conveying a sense of the scale of the company and its offerings, yet also position it as modern and relevant.
One of the things that struck me as important when considering the branding design was to convey a sense of energy and motion. This would serve as a counterpoint to the subtle, muted palette and crisp, elegant typography to create a site that would work well on different devices. The ends result was a site that felt established and corporate, yet would grab the attention of journalists, people looking for jobs in the company and potential investors.
